On Tuesday, September 10, 2013, Microsoft released the following security and nonsecurity updates for Office.
These updates are also related to the SharePoint versions 2010, 2013 and SharePoint Services 2.0 and 3.0, MOSS 2007.
Please find here the full Description of the Office updates: September 10, 2013 for more.
– if you have already installed the August 2013 CU, this update should be included already. Installing Sept. CU on top may fail then.
Q: why is the Sept. PU published later when it is included into August CU?
A: PUs are more intensively tested than CUs. Hence the release delayed. Please see more on Common Question: What is the difference between a PU, a CU and a COD?
Q: If we have already Oct. 2013 CU installed, do we need to install Sept.PU prior or additionally?
A: No, It is included in the August and/or Oct. CU anyway.
