In-between we have published the “cumulative updates” for MOSS 2007 and as well for SharePoint 2010 (SPS2010).
Before getting confused by the different abbreviations commonly used,
please see the post “Abbreviations for our SharePoint 2010 products” from my colleague Joerg Sinemus.

MOSS 2007/ WSSv3 August CU (Build 12.0.6545.5000)
SharePoint Server/ SharePoint Foundation 2010 – August CU (Build 14.0.5123.5000)
*** Updated 16/Sept/2010 ***
Side Notes:
The sizes of the packages for WSS/MOSS are now smaller than in the past. This is because you need to have SP2 installed so that not all fixes between SP1 and SP2 are necessary to ship with each CU.

Regarding the KB articles 2352346, 2352342, 2352345:
It seems that there are no usual kb articles behind the links. Please use instead the General kb article 953878 for your reference. The kb numbers are given to be able to download the packages.
After applying the preceding updates, run the SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard or
“psconfig –cmd upgrade –inplace b2b -wait”
in command line. This needs to be done on all servers in the farm with SharePoint 2010 installed. As usually, you should start with the server, hosting the central admin and finishing it there, after all other servers has been updated as well! the other servers now can run the psconfig wizard in parallel (on MOSS we had to run them sequentially, one by one).
As many times used in our daily business, we’re used to ask for “Build number” rather

Hi there, I’ve been searching for hours for the MOSS August 2010 CU. When I click on the link above
support.microsoft.com/…/KBHotfix.aspx it takes me to an error screen saying "The KB article has no public hotfixes".
Any ideas how I can get this download?

Hi,
Due to a series of regressions, these fixes were pulled back to prevent customers from running into problems. The last CU from February 2011 is available and anyway most recommended!
If you are planning to install a higher patch level than your current, please ensure that you are at least being on SP2 already
and install then on top of this straight away the Febr.CU 2011.
